AdventHealth Medical Group West Florida Division is seeking an Executive Medical Director. The director's medical specialty can be any non-primary care specialties. This leadership role will be 50% administrative and 50% clinical time.

PRIMARY FUNCTION: Physician shall provide clinical direction, oversight, and physician leadership to all AdventHealth Medical Group employed specialty practices in West Florida.

As Executive Medical Director, the physician leader provides strategic and clinical leadership that drives measurable improvements in patient outcomes, operational efficiency, and quality performance across the medical group and hospitals. The physician leader collaborates closely with multidisciplinary teams to standardize care pathways, implement evidence-based practices, and align physician engagement with organizational goals. In addition to outcomes-focused leadership, the physician leader plays a key role in physician recruitment, onboarding, and staffing optimization—ensuring the service line is supported by high-quality clinicians and structured to meet both current demand and future growth. Scope Metric This community/specialty-based physician leadership role provides oversight for the clinical and operational performance of the providers and practices in a dyad partnership in their assigned region. This includes developing and implementing the clinical vision for their region, while ensuring AHMG and care management clinical practices/policies are adhered to. Ensures personal actions, and the actions of the providers in their region, comply with all applicable policies, regulations, and laws.

Clinical Effort: 80% Clinical / 20% Academic, GME, Administrative, and Program Development

AdventHealth Tampa is seeking a fellowship-trained Neuroimmunology Neurologist to join our growing academic neurology program. This position will support the expansion of comprehensive neurologic care across AdventHealth Tampa and the West Florida Division, with a focus on patients with multiple sclerosis, neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder, MOG antibody disease, autoimmune encephalitis, transverse myelitis, neuro-sarcoidosis, and other inflammatory or immune-mediated neurologic disorders.

The physician will provide primarily outpatient subspecialty care while also participating in inpatient neurology consultation services as appropriate. The role includes collaboration with general neurology, epilepsy, vascular neurology, neurohospitalist services, radiology, infusion services, pharmacy, rehabilitation, and other multidisciplinary teams. The physician will help develop clinical pathways for evaluation, treatment, infusion coordination, specialty pharmacy workflows, long-term disease monitoring, and access to advanced therapies.

This position includes 80% clinical effort and 20% effort will be dedicated to Neurology leadership responsibilities within GME, either as the Research Director or as the Associate Program Director for Neurology Quality Improvement and Patient Safety, based on the candidate’s interests, qualifications, and programmatic needs. The physician will play an important role in the development of the AdventHealth Tampa Neurology Residency Program, scheduled to begin in July 2027, and the resident general neurology clinic planned for July 2028.

Key Responsibilities

Provide outpatient neuroimmunology consultation and longitudinal care.

Evaluate and manage patients with MS and related inflammatory neurologic disorders.

Coordinate disease-modifying therapies, infusion services, specialty pharmacy needs, and safety monitoring protocols.

Participate in inpatient neurology consultation coverage as appropriate.

Develop neuroimmunology clinical pathways, referral workflows, and patient education resources.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve access, care coordination, and patient outcomes.

Participate in GME teaching, including resident didactics, case conferences, journal club, morning report, and faculty-led clinical teaching.

Precept neurology residents in the resident general neurology continuity clinic for one half-day per week.

Serve as a faculty mentor for residents interested in neuroimmunology, clinical research, quality improvement, or academic neurology.

Participate in Clinical Competency Committee, Program Evaluation Committee, recruitment, resident advising, and other residency program activities as assigned.

Contribute to scholarly activity, quality improvement, patient safety initiatives, and faculty development.

Clinical Effort: 80% Clinical / 20% Academic, GME, Administrative, and Program Development

AdventHealth Tampa is seeking a fellowship-trained Movement Disorders Neurologist to join our expanding academic neurology program. This role will focus on developing a comprehensive movement disorders practice to serve patients with Parkinson’s disease, essential tremor, dystonia, ataxia, Huntington’s disease, tic disorders, functional movement disorders, atypical parkinsonism, and other complex movement disorders.

The physician will provide primarily outpatient subspecialty care with opportunities to build multidisciplinary programs in collaboration with neurosurgery, rehabilitation, psychiatry, neuropsychology, speech therapy, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and social work. The role may include development of advanced therapeutic services such as botulinum toxin injections, deep brain stimulation evaluation and programming, device-based therapies, and multidisciplinary Parkinson’s disease care pathways.

This position includes 80% clinical effort, and 20% effort will be dedicated to Neurology leadership responsibilities within GME, either as the Research Director or as the Associate Program Director for Neurology Quality Improvement and Patient Safety, based on the candidate’s interests, qualifications, and programmatic needs. Help establish clinical pathways for movement disorders care across AdventHealth Tampa.

Participate in GME teaching, including resident didactics, case conferences, journal club, morning report, and bedside or clinic-based teaching.

Precept neurology residents in the resident general neurology continuity clinic for one half-day per week.

AdventHealth Wesley Chapel, a 193-bed hospital in central Florida, seeks a BC/BE Traditional ObGyn physician to join our growing Graduate Medical Education Team.

Our GME program started in July 2024 with 8 residents per program year. We’re looking for an ObGyn who has the desire to be a part of a growing program, a passion for medical education, and who will place a priority on collaboration, quality of care, and the patient and resident experience. ObGyn will join two FMOBs and be the first ObGyn on our Wesley Chapel GME team. Candidate can expect to be an integral part of growing our program and developing the ObGyn portion of our curriculum.
